Although Dan - Air has not been flying for many years, several toys have appeared for sale on sites like ebay. The pieces seem to be fairly collectable and range in price. From the basic Wooster models that the airline sold on board it's aircraft, which sell for a few pounds, to the more elaborate wooden and die cast models that sell for high prices. As well as Aircraft Models, more recently we have noticed vehicles, such as Engineering Morris Minors. A Dan - Air Cargo Lorry and Buses that appear to carry Dan Air Logo's as adverts! We have been sent several pictures of the models that people have bought. Whilst we agree that they make great collectors items, we cannot vouch for the quality of them nor can we endorse any external sites. If you wish to send pictures to us please do so at firstname.lastname@example.org The prices show are for guidance purposes. We have had messages from people telling us that the Gemini Jets and The Aeroclassic jets, whilst perfect in detail, are TINY. The Boeing 727 for instance is bearely 5 cm long. The Wooster models are approximately 12" long, they are hollow plastic and simple to assemble. The G-BDAN Boeing 727 G-BDAN which is a collectors piece, made with limited numbers is 10" die cast metal and is a great investment. The wooden models that are shown costing more than £100 are from overseas. We cannot tell you details of their quality.
