SIMON SEARLE - DAN AIR REMEMBERED

After leaving the military, Simon flew various aircraft types commercially firstly with Dan Air then as a training Captain and Authorized Examiner with British Airways, and Flight Safety and Flight Data Analysis Manager at Go-Fly. Simon became involved in the Human Factors programme with BA Safety Services in 1994 before acting as aviation Safety Consultant for Europe, Africa and the Middle East under the umbrella of Lufthansa Consulting. Simon joined Flight Data Services in 2006 and has recently been appointed Secretary General to the African Aviation Safety Council (AFRASCO).
