A Great story from Alan Carter
On take-off from Berlin, we had an engine oil warning annunciation. So the skipper Stu Lenton actioned a lowish speed RTO. Unfortunately when the engineers had completed their maintenance actions and engine run ups, they taxied the aircraft back to stand......without pressurising the hydraulics. Engineers were allowed to taxi the aircraft back in those days! So as they turned towards the stand the last of the hydraulic pressure was used up, and they lost steering and brakes. So embedding the aircraft into the jetway and the terminal! You can see the fuel pouring out of the centre tank! We decided that this could not be deferred!!!!!!
