Just to add a little more, went to Australia in 1989 with the 727 (flew the first 2 legs LGW to Cairo then on to Dubai) stayed in Australia and joined Ansett. Beacame a check and training Captain and ended on the B767 long haul.I came back to the UK and set up the MCC training for European in Bournemouth. Now retired with a pacemaker.
